Quick question--we are doing arm bouquets with james storey orchids,
callas and roses---can these be stored in our main cooler for few hours
without damaging orchids? We would like to use more orchids for everyday work but run into the storage porblem all the time because we would typically mix them with our other flowers in arrangements. Then the question becomes
where do they get stored and or displayed.

We keep orchids stored in our regular cooler, but keep them boxed, with protective paper over them. Ours usually arrive with that spongey paper, and we clean out the box, re-cut and re-tube them with fresh water, put them back in the box and store it standing so they'll drink.

For your presentation bouquets, just adding paper over them should help for a few hours, or box them.

hope this helps,

Thanks Tracey
That is what I was thinking about doing. Just needed some assurance that
that would work.
Thanks again
