Artichokes

We are going to use artichokes in our arrangements for a party. Does anyone know if they are ethelyne producing? We have been loking for information with no luck so far. Thanks-

Richard, it's all ethelyne producing...

Ethelyne cannot produce if your cooler is under 37 degrees F.
or so I've been told.

I was under the impression that everything vegative produces ethylene gas ~ but if it's any help I made a design with an Artichoke in with Rose petals inbetween the ''petals'' of the chokies head ~ it lasted about 10 days before the Rose petals died

We buy artichokes from the wholesalers any chance we get and use them frequently, same with kale.

It's for a party, one time shot, don't worry about it. And all fruits and veggies make it, when they begin to rot.
