WoW Factor

It's easier to upsell from a paper wrap to something presented in a vase or other container, when the 'WoW factor' is mentioned to the sender. It's all about the impact on the co-workers and how that impact magnifies the special event of receiving a gift of flowers.

It was nice to read a 'feel good' story, for a change. I appreciated it because it was a positive endorsement for flowers as a thoughtful gift.

Like Bama, I also sent a thank you note to Kim.

And thanks to CHR for the link!

I think she deserves her own arrangement of flowers, I shall send some Wednesday. I wish she wrote for my local paper!

Erlene,

That was on my 'wuz gonna' list all day but got sidetracked with a van breakdown, 2 'drop-in' brides, MAS install prep, 2 eight year-olds buidling a website, and a few other diversions - like customers.

Double the size and I'll send you a check. PM me with the details. The lady indeed deserves her own flowers!

I received a response from the writer, saying that she has received mail from florists all over the world.

She also received flowers from a local florist. I imagine her office may be filled with flowers before too long! Good on her!

Cathy and I decided to send two seperate arrangements and were hoping others would send flowers as well to fill her office and it looks like that is happening, thanks for sharing her reply with us.

I got lucky when I called my order out this morning and ended up speaking with the florist, Judy of Cottonwood Florist, that sent that order yesterday (and probably delivered the ones being written about.) :)

Told her about the story making the national news and invited her here to FC.

I say 'great job' on two counts - delivering quality work that gets noticed, and following up to the reporter who noticed. Thanks, Judy!!!

Allie asked me to post this pic sent with a reply from the author.
