Okay, So I've seen it here many times before and now I need your good thoughts. We are doing a wedding this coming Saturday that is....well, HUGE!
Lighting designers, set designers, and a crew of about 25.
So any good karma, wishes, prayers and the like would be much appreciated!
The family has been a joy to work for and my entire staff is very excited as am I, but I definitely believe in the power of asking for something!
Thanks guys!

You'll definitely be in our prayers. Let's see some photos of the event, please.

Parie....know we be thinking of you and your's....

May the wedding Spirits bring you the most perfect day possible...

I have one of these coming up next June outdoor sit-down dinner for 500, tented...lighting and all...

Don;t forget to put some flowers in the Port-a-Johns (if they are using them) makes a great statement that nothing was left un-attended...we hang them on the walls.....

Masive best wishes...

May the special event and wedding fairies work together to bring the efforts of you and your team over the top. :)

It will be great I'm sure and I too would love to see the pictures.

Dear Parie.....

you HAVE that talent, you HAVE the karma, you HAVE the organizing skillset, and you HAVE the positive energies!!
Judging from what I SEE, you have it all, you WILL be proud of the results, your work WILL BE richly rewarded, and the final result will be a tremendous wedding for you and your shop!!
My wedding crystal ball has confirmed this for you, and the wedding spririts covenant, are in your favour!!
Like a famous line in the movie Armageddon......do a good job!!

You already have it.

If this family was ajoy working with you is that you already got what you are askng for. THey already have confidence in you. What you are lacking is confidence in yourself, Which WE ALL DO when we have to do a big event like this. WE WANT it to be perfect and WE ALWAYS second guess ourselves.
Your are already pumped, staff is pumped and Things will turn out A 1 .
They may be clitches, but your expertise will prevail them.
You will be the hit of the evening aside from the bride, people will be talking about the decorations, flowers etc for many days to come. Take lots of picture, have fun with this and enjoy a good drink after everything is done.

Blessings to oyu and your crew
Luc

Parie, It will be an exciting endeavor. Keep your staff focused and give lots of praises. It will all be worth it. Just remind youself throughout the week that you all have what it takes and more to pull it off. You can handle anything that may arise. NO PROBLEM!

Don't let the heat sneak up on you. Bring a cooler full of water for you and your staff. We did 2 outdoor weddings this weekend and water was a must for us all (109 heat index).

You've got the resources, skills, staff, talent, expertise, and creativity to make a statement like no other. Your FC friends are behind you and sending you good floral vibes and wishing you beautiful blooms.

Parie, You'll do great! Remember to have fun with it too. We'll be looking for your wedding flowers in one of the industry magazines, O.K.?

You've already been blessed with a great bride & her family, and you've got a positive attitude! Now may the Flower Gods smile down upon you & your staff to make this a fabulous and fun event for you!

Can't wait to hear how it goes!!!

You Guys Rock!!!

You guys are the best! I have a huge smile and goose bumps on my arms from all the good energy heading my way! And yes, I will post my pics asap, but the BEST photographer in this part of the country is doing the pics, and he always gives me discs. so the good pics will be online in a few weeks. Thanks for all the tips, had most of them covered, including lunch and snacks for the entire crew for 3 days.
AGAIN>>>> thank you guys, it means the world to me, and Frank, I would love to see my work in a national magazine. Just need to figure out how to submit the work and get my feet in the door.

Update

Thought I would give you guys an update on my BIG EVENT! Well, to put it mildly, it went FABULOUSLY!!!! All of my hard work and everyone's good vibes paid off. The clients were ecstatic and overwhelmed with the finished product. A few times that evening, it was almost embarrassing, as I was getting as much attention as the bride! LOL! I only made 2 mistakes that I can see:
1) we had created a "martini lounge" in a side room and at the last minute my attention to detail husband suggested we procure those new carpet squares and re-carpet the room. We did, and it really became pretty obvious after just a few hours that the squares might just possibly be a shambles before nights end. BUT< since the client didn't pay for this, i chose to leave them and of course.... they were in shambles before the night ended. But, i have to admit, even that i don't feel that bad about.
2) there had been much discussion and changing of leaving the church flowers in place for sunday mornings services, yes, no, yes, no and then 2 days before a yes. but, i forgot to mention that to my takedown crew. the parents were so blase' about it, thank goodness.

SO, thank you to everyone. The event did however have it's problems, non-client related. 1) my digital camera was stolen, therefore ALL of my pictures of the biggest event i've done so far, gone.
2) 2 large expensive martini glasses stolen
3) lost my head designer on monday morning. not necessarily related to this event, but never the less, he will be missed.
Everyone have a wonderful 4th!

Congrats Parie.....

It's always nice to do a big event...but it's also always nice when it's over too....

Have a great Fourth...

Way to go, Parie! The best advertising in the world: satisfied customers and their impressed guests!

That is awesome!!!!!

We had a large wedding this last weekend too. The bride & her mom insisted that we stay for dinner. No was not an option for them. During dinner, the bride's mom came over and asked us for business cards to hand out and gave us a very fat tip. Wow!

Feels good to be appreciated, doesn't it?! Makes you want to keep going on, no matter how tired you are...... and are we tired.

Congrats Parie! Hope you can get some photos from the photographer, maybe in exchange for a link on your website?

Wow! Stunning! Wow again! Thanks for sharing!
