New member intro by A Vanity Fair Florist

Buzz sent me here, so here I am. My husband and I own a small retail flower shop in Sacramento, CA. We're one of many flower shops in this big city, so there is a lot of competition going on here, but we've seen florists come and go, and we seem to be surviving even in this current economy. The list on search engines and those independent locate a florist directories can't keep up, a lot of the shops listed have been closed for a long time. But we're still here!

Yes, I do design. Most of the time when it gets slow, my senior designer leaves early and then late in the day when I'm by myself, I get a desperate order for tropical or exotic or something that's not in the showroom, I have to do the designing and then do the delivery also!
