Yes,I'm very proud... he says I'm more brainwashed than him...maybe he's right but at least it's for a good thing. If I could find a way to mix flowers with the Marine Corps I'd be a happy woman!!

Here's the back story to that little movie. He stood up until 0130 am making it and it's a timeline of our years together.
First pictures show the high school we met at and a pic of kids doing art- we met in art class, 9th grade. There's a skull with horns...that's a reference to Danzig(I'm a huge fan of his). Then a pic of Doc Martin's...being poor that was the only pair of shoes I had and wore everyday-even walked the stage on graduation day withe them all beat up and hole in the sole.
The long haired guy in water is my hubby...he had long hair. Obviously pic of Metallica and Ronny James Dio- hubby is a huge fan of the two.
Blue Rose is in reference to when he asked me to be his girlfriend-we were at a beach and he gave me a white rose with hints of blue coloring(blue is my fave color) then said, "Would you be my girlfriend?" Then hands holding is what we did for a good amount of time...it took us a month or so to even kiss-we were both that shy.
Then there is a pic of GWAR....very heavy metal band-not for the faint of heart-first concert we went to together without parents.
Then a picnic basket of KFC-we ditched school one day in our senior year and had a picnic for our anniversary. Following is a pic of a wedding chapel in Vegas-Cupid's Wedding chapel is where we got married.
There's a photo of Hawaii, our first duty station. Pic of baby stroller is for Nina who was born 5 years after marriage, then cityscape of Chicago. The yellow house is our house, the one we're trying to hang onto. The photo of a church is representing the time we got married by the Catholic Church and baptized our boys all in the same ceremony-which is rarely done. Finally the two kitten pictures represent our two fave cats we had-Bear and Autumn...the ones hugging look more like our two fave cats.
It is romantic, huh?

CONGRATULATIONS!!! It's my 13th anniversary today! I got flowers, beautiful arrangment of orchids, orses, gerbers, bells, just awsome, and a big box of chocholates!!!! Love you little video - how sweet and thoughtful of him!!!
You have a year on me!!! I met him on the day you were married, he was in the Army and looking rather hansome. He retired to marry me with my 3 little boys who are almost grown men.
Congratulations again!! I am sure you are missing him, but make up for it when he gets home!

Hey Congratulations to you too Karen .I know 13 wont be unlucky for you .I feel very old compared to you cos this year I'll be married 27 years. I was young when I got married -v v young lol at least thats my story .!But it does'nt seem that long and he's the best thing that ever happened to me .Lets raise a toast to all the long suffering partners (romantic )husbands ,wifes,SO 's that are there for us through thick and thin .Could'nt do it without them .
