A while back, we had a thread regarding conversion ratios. If I recall, most florists saw about a 3% to 6 % click-to-conversion ratio.
I'm running about 4 1/2 % right now.
What's the "going rate" for basket-to-sale percentage?
Right now, I'm running at about 50%. IOW about half the customers that put something in the Shopping Cart actually buy. Is this good, bad, about par?
Obviously, If I can IMPROVE this ratio, that would have a DRAMATIC impact on my online sales. For example, if ALL the folks that put something in the basket actually bought, then my conversion efficiency would be almost 10%. From what I understand, that's "nosebleed" territory!
What things seem useful to improve the basket-to-sale ratio?
Bill
