Vermont is well represented the NCAA's tornaments this weekend. Tonight our UVM team takes on the Big orange of Saracuse and Vermont deserved a better seeding the 16th so this could be a game. Vermont did upset the orange at the big dance 5 years ago and if you like watching great leapers I am sure Blakely from Vermont will throw down a couple big dunks on the orange.

On Sunday our lady's Vermont team will take on Wisconsin and I think they have a real shot at winning that game. The only team to realy blow out the Vermont ladies was U Conn and they blew every single team out this year.

good luck to your vermont teams until they match up to our big 10 teams. I hope both our lady Spartans and the guys make a deep run. GO GREEN.

We root for any and all big 10 teams now.

Oh and for the WNCAA tourn - can anyone beat U Conn?? What a story.
 
If anyone is going to beat U Conn it could be one of two Teams Pat summits Tenn team is good and she hates the coach from U Conn with a passion and Stanford would be the other team with a shot at them.

I heard that, from what I understand those two teams (Tenn and Uconn) haven't played during the past 2 seasons during this undefeated run.
 
well that was a Nail biter last night. Our mightly Spartans pulled out another one. Sorry Steve about Vermont.

I heard an interesting number this morning over 4 million people filled out their brackets with ESPN and of those 4 million how many do you think have all 16 teams in the seet 16? Zero, zip, none talk about long oods on getting something right.

Cornell made it! That is a first I believe. We are very excited for them. Looks like the game times will over lap with Syracuse playing at the same time. The SU fans will be working the dome for the Cornell game and will miss out on seeing the SU game, this is not setting well.

Can't say enough about being underdogs.. I'll take that post any day with Tom Izzo as the coach.. Roll Spartans Roll. On to INDY we go!

What about WVU beating Kentucky? I still can't believe it. West Virginia's last trip to the final four was when Jerry West was captain back in 1959 - and now he has a son playing on the team. Cool story.

No matter what, Easter deliveries WILL be finished in time for us to get home on Saturday to watch the game against Duke.
