Finally got the pic of the bouquet I did for a wedding. The bride wanted to surprise the groom with a tribute to him with her bouquet. He played baseball for the Huskers in college, played minor league baseball and now works in baseball operations for the Huskers.
Mechanics went like this...sawed handle off of bat, drilled hole about an inch down from end, glued small igloo on top and then wired the igloo through the drill hole to ensure it was secure. She was thrilled with how it turned out...and they had a candlelit ceremony. So, when she turned to hand the bouquet to her maid of honor, who wasn't looking for a good 30 seconds, the audience got to see that it was a bat handle very clearly and people were whispering about it in the audience. I could clearly hear them making how cool is that bat handle comments. Fun! Thanks for those of you who gave me advice on it!
