Hello to the World of Flower Chat. I was encouraged to join Flower Chat from a fellow board member of the Floral Asssociation of the Rockies. I have been a florist since 1977. I owned a retail shop from 1979 to 2006, was the in-house florist in a resort hotel from 2007-2009, and am currently operating from my home. I did not attend college to learn my trade, I learned on-the-job. I have earned accreditation with AIFD and CPF, and have attended many educational workshops and events. I hope to learn from other florists, to engage in dialogue concerning our floral industry, and to contribute to this on-line community in a positive manner. I don't currently have a website.
