Well, fellow FC'ers...It is time for me to take my leave.

I cancelled my last class because of low enrollment. My current night session will be over on December 18. Today I had a couple come by the School and buy a bunch of supplies (and they got a steal!) I still have some stuff, so if anyone in the NJ metro area is interested, give me a call!

I don't know what I'm going to do next, but I'm having very mixed emotions about leaving the School, and the floral business in general. I guess I still have enough friends and graduates in the business that I can keep a pinky in it if I feel the need.

I will miss the teaching part of it, and the independence of running my own business.

I will not miss the few crazy people that always seem to pop up, the highs and lows of the business cycles, the bills, and the administrative crap that bores me.

I will miss all of you. Thanks for sharing all of your wonderful advice, talent, skills, experiences, and especially your passion. I wish you all luck and great success in the coming years.

All my best wishes,
Linda Federman

Linda... I wish you success and adventure in your future. And you don't have to leave here.

Linda,

They didn't make me leave. You should stay too!!

I know you'll find something that interests you.. just keep an open mind... I hope you find something less stessful!

Besides Linda, just because you're closing your school, doesn't mean you will lose all the knowledge you already have. ;)

LInda,

I prefer to think that our lives are lived in seasons. If your are being lead to leave teaching floral design, then I know God has something else planned for you to do.

God gives Florist very special hearts, they can hold the love, the loss, the joy of everyone we meet and serve, cry with customers, laugh with them, comforting and encourging them. We are special people. You are a special person, and God will direct you into your next season.

Many blessings.

Linda, best wishes for this turn in the road! Don't be a stranger to FC.

Linda, I for one and I know I am not alone, encourage you to continue posting and contributing to FC...you have years of experience that could benefit all of us as well as many ideas that you have taught over the years that you can share. It would be a waste to just leave. You have probably forgoton more about flowers, design, etc than many of us know. Please stay right here...

They didn't make me leave either...Flowers are in your blood...so please keep posting. :)

Good luck to you, whatever you decide your next path shall be.
Please keep in touch here - there are many who come and go, but
also many who continue to share their input.

:)
