This is weird...from current TELE sweepstakes.

“Any Canadian resident who is a potential winner of any prize must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by telephone without assistance or mechanical or electronic aid in order to receive a prize. If a selected Canadian potential winner cannot be reached by telephone within a reasonable time period or answers the skill testing question incorrectly, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, he/she may be disqualified, and, at Sponsor's discretion, the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner.”

I don't get it???

I believe it is Canadian Law in order to participate. We've discussed this before at a previous holiday with a sweepstakes...

I've heard those Canadians are "challenged".....

Yeah I'm half Canuck myself. Guess half of me should know.

this is correct..."skill testing question" is the proper terminology.....

Yes it really is bizarre. I don't know who came up with this law. All contests here have a "skill testing question". Usually a mathematical question. However most of the questions are so easy that it is almost impossible to get them wrong which is just another reason why this law is so stupid.
