Yea, I've got one too... it appears to be from a florist, cuz they're ragging about my $29.95 TOTO Stop, Drop and Go delivery charge for late orders...

I petitioned Google for removal... still waiting...

I got 2 both raving how my store is dirty and smells like garbage...and that they got dead flowers...

Lori... that sounds like it comes from kids.

Personally I wouldn't respond as it just adds fuel to stupidity. Like Mark, I would petition for removal.

I see very few reviews on Yahoo Local. I don't think it was an accident that you got two in a couple of days. You could try to contact
Yahoo and see if they will remove them.
I would add a section called testimonials to your web site and share some good feedback.

I think the way you responded is perfect. Just do that and people will know that you are paying attention to your customer reviews. I don't think it will hurt you at all in fact it looks to be a very postive response in the consumers eyes.

It will be okay don't worry about it too much.

Lori, you made a typo on the word "guarantee".

I've struggled whether to counter respond to a negative review. I decided to let it go and not draw anymore attention to it. Even the most critically acclaimed businesses get negative reviews.

What gets me is that the two bad reviews we received online were posted after we admitted that there was a problem, and refunded the customer's money! One just happened recently, where we agreed that there was a miss communication with a bride and we gave her $400 in refunds to make her happy!

And then we get stabbed in the back with a rant online. I'm trying not to let it get to me...

Lori, I have found 3 lately..... one posted around Valentines on Yahoo local regarding the price of roses for Valentines day.

The other two are on Bing... new ones... just found them in the last two weeks. 1st one regarding the $3.00 service charge I added to online orders because teleflora charges so I passed it on for the convenience of web orders. (but no longer need to as I have a new Strider site as of 7/1)
The second was right after the site launched and there were many things that needed fixed.

Never are these reviews regarding the quality of flowers received or our service. Always something stupid. I am pretty sure they are friends of the competitor in town, who use to put on his website (TF and FTD hosted) "No Added Service Fees" but is now gone since I have my new site.... HMMMMM.... makes you wonder.

It just makes you mad.... Don't people have a life? Do they need to hurt the little guy just trying to make a living?
Yes, I have submitted abuse as the website is not listed correctly on one of the reviews.

One removed by yahoo one not, says it didn't violate their review policy...

Lori, use the proflowers, 1800flowers, stratedgy on twitter. They add so many "offers" and "coupons" over and over that anything bad about them moves on to later pages.

Add so many reviews from good customers that the negative reviews get pushed back to page 3 or 4. Most people only look at the first page, and a few go to the second. Almost no one continues to the 3rd page. Are there some recent great customers that would help you out?
