I wanted to extend my thoughts and prayers to everyone effected by the huge blizzard crossing the country. Take care, stay safe, stay warm, stay home (if you can)

I know my location shows Louisiana (southern LA at that!) but I was born and bred in Maine, and spent most of my life somewhere in the north, so I know how nasty the weather gets, and I dont' miss a minute of it!

Thanks...we closed at 1 yesterday and will probably open at noon today. Roads were plowed yesterday, but this morning are all drifted shut. We so need a good holiday season, and it freaks me out to miss two days of business. That could be the difference in my profitability for the month. Ugh. On a much lighter note, I went to be at 9 and slept 9 hours so I am rested and refreshed!

right now its raining after getting a couple inches of snow last night (the wet and heavy stuff) I guess it's going to start getting BAD after 1 with the worst hitting during commute time. Not only the storm coming in from the plains but add in lake effect snow too.

I hope the rest of the week is not a wash for business. Today is starting out very quiet. I hope people don't waite till this afternoon looking for deliveries for today. I hate sending drivers out on bad roads.

I am supposed to teach a group of 10 years olds tonight for a GEMS class. I'm betting we will postpone it.

Snowing very heavily here right now. We are across the lake from Steve, so we have pretty much the same weather. We are also suppose to be getting rain/sleet this pm. We are already talking about closing early.

We had one employee not show because of the roads.

We are keeping our driver close to the shop, anything going too far out we are telling people the roads are too bad for today they can go tomorrow if the weather is better.

just starting here in the middle of God's Snow Country!! I can take the snow, I don't like the frigid air following on Saturday though!!
Take care all those affected.........

8 inches here, had a load coming from Delaware Valley, had to call to postpone which really put me behind to 8 ball. Finished shoveling, had to at least head to the Produce Wholesale to pick up fruit and nuts for this weekend and by God's hand, my DV truck was there, shew!!

We had 8" yesterday and high winds last night so everything was blown shut again. The city crews here did a great job working thru the night to keep the main roads open. Side streets are still really bad though. It is only 8 degrees but the sun is shining!

Just got power... 2pm... been out since 4am...

Snowing hard... winds up to 50 expected tonight with 5-6 inches more snow and then sub zero temps...

I love Missuagain!
