When bloomnation first hit the scene it was with the intent of building a "partnership" between florists that would effectively reduce the need for wire services. Since then they've moved from offering a marketplace only to building website for florists to replace the often under-performing websites hosted by the wire services.

I've spoken with several shops that have made the transition from one service or another to that of bloomnation. The shops I spoke with were thrilled about the results they have seen. Anyone here familiar with that situation or have made the move to bloomnation hosted site? If so, share your experience.

I am well aware they take 10% off the top of the order, in exchange for hosting and servicing the site.

There was a thread about this on FB recently where people were not happy with them. I have no first hand knowledge but some florists were claiming their images and names were being used by Bloomnation with out their consent and with them being members. I personally don't think we need another order gatherer in our industry. Why not get an independent web site and work on your SEO? Get rid of the middle man.

I would still love to hear from people who signed up with them. I personally know nothing about Bloomnation. Are they web-hosting service or "membership club". How are they helping florists... Why are people who transitioned to them so happy with the service?
My personal beliefs aside (PRO independent website) I like to know what is there.

I've talked to 6 different florists who have moved to bloomnation hosted sites. All of them agree its the best choice they have made moving from their standard wire service sites. three of the owners we kind enough to share in detail the analytics of their sites now compared to what they had. Can't argue the numbers. Impressive.

My independent site does so much better than my TF site ever did so I think you can do fine with out them, but what ever floats your boat. The people that are happy with them will hopefully remain so
