In November 2009, I signed up with Bloomnet for a hosted e-commerce website. Bought my own new domain name, http://any-timeflowers.net so that I could still have complete control over my original site. In that two months, I have recieved two orders.

To make it worse, two weeks ago, people were calling saying they couldn't see anything on it for CHRISTMAS! So I went and looked, the home page had some scrolling goofy images of just everyday stuff, and not even winter. So I went to the sidebar, .....nope, no listing for Christmas, not even holiday. I literally had to type in "Christmas" in the search in order to find any holiday designs.

I think that would be a huge thanks for nothing! Oh, but I'm paying through the nose.

But now it gets more interesting, so anybody else who has a Bloomnet hosted web-site had better see if it comes up.

If you followed my link, you probably got an error message. THANKS rosecityflowers FOR THE HEADS UP!

Read that message, it is from some company called corerewards. HMMMM. Now where have I heard something that sounds like that?

Oh, yes, I believe it was in another thread about fraudulent rewards programs that people were unknowingly signing up for when making internet purchases.

Because I own the name under godaddy, I looked to see if there was a problem with it. Nope, no problem.

Surprise! Nobody can help me with this. THE GUY who I need to talk to is OUT OF TOWN.

Short answer: get rid of the Bloomnet site and get an independent.

Media99, Digital Thoughts or Strider are good options :)

BTW - 2 orders in 2 months is more than any other bloomnet site owner I've talked to!

Anytime,

I just checked your homepage, the url link is gone did you take it down?

Your FSN link is still there. Yes, I noted the corerewards name on the error page, but didn't want to muddy the waters at that point.

Seems there are alot of odd things happening to websites and search results (Makescents) right now. Does anyone know what may be causing them?

www.conroysflowersburbank.com has the exact same problem.

CoreRewards.com

This part is interesting, especially the Email Address:

"Enterprise Incentive Solutions" owns about 46 other domains

Email Search:

Interesting to search on Google... "Jay Flowers" is a .NET developer for one thing, and then there is THIS PAGE from JigSaw that lists CoreRewards contact info.

Thanks, Ryan, we will be on the search in the New Year, and will look into these.

Yes, we got ZERO..Received email blasts from 1800Flowers in the weeks before Christmas, pushing all dropped-shipped items, only switching to florist delivered items on Christmas eve or the day before. Signed out as a BloomNet florist on 12/21/09.

And to top things off, TF pulled my TF-hosted website today..."inadvertently"::BS...obviously lost the family funeral who called and was directed to the website for a look-see. They never called back.
I'm Pi**ed!

This looks like you would buy listings from them for bulk mailings.
Dirty little devils out there!

This month has been the final nail in the coffin for them, I am finished with those little helpers who are looking out for me and helping my business. They just don't mention that their version of helping me is ....well.....assinine, as am I for signing up.
