I have been the floral industry for about 16 years. Of that I have owned my shop for a little over 5 years now. Of course when I bought it the economy has been declining and I have been trying to find new ways to get that buinsess. It used to really bother me that people are going to the grocery store, menards, wal mart, ect to pick up flowers, but I have come to think that I do not want them. I want the customer that knows the difference between what I offer and what they offer.
I love to design weddings and fun events and I am now trying to focus more on them. Also funerals... my friends tell me thats morbid, but I say no... I design their final tribute.. a celebration of life well lived!
