Have a big tent wedding in which the bride is using blue lighting all over the place. Tent will be furnished with very contemporary furniture. She wants a very icey feel. As far as flowers go, do you think I am restricted to white only? Don't know how other pale colors will react under blue lighting. How about pale yellow, pale green, etc... Any suggestions are welcome.

I know this sounds funny, but in the past I have purchased a light bulb the color of the back lighting just to get a feel for how my flowers would look. Mine happened to be red, so I can't even lend any advice on the blue. Sorry. Even if you have to go into a bathroom to get the feel, it helps...lol! Good luck!

Is she trying to do the Christina Wedding? Also I agree on the bulb , but do contact the lightening guy, he may be using a gel and just a wash also some look great,,I am so greatful lightening in some of these sites..

I would stick with all white, as they will look the sharpest with the blue lighting, or gel or whatever she chooses.
Also the use of crystals, hanging, clustered, ropping and soft garlands of plumosa shot with white plant tint will add a touch of glamour if you need. Cluster of stock, carns, roses greatly look better in this eniviroment. IMHO...good luck.

At the ceremony and reception site our palette is pale yellow, pale orange and pale pink. The blue lighting will be in the after-hours party tent. I would somehow like to integrate the bride's palette or part of the palette into this blue lightshow along with white flowers. Think it's possible?

I wouldl mix soft yellow in it, but not much more....I actually think another look at the end of the wedding reception, might be more impressive than more of the same, with blue lights...JMO...entering another world would be top notch!
Totally different enviroment.

Check out this website for some cool ideas:

You could do crystal trees. Don't know what your budget is. But if You are limited you can make your own trees. White trees with clear crystals and some blue crystals. you need ALOT of crystal chains for the best impact though.
We made some for a friend party, Black and red theme. The pictures don't really do them justice. Very cool, but next I would use more beads.
