I got into the industry quite by accident, though I always have loved things in nature, I was hired as a delivery driver in a local florist shop almost ten years ago. From there I learned the design basics and went on to work in another shop as well honing my contemporary design skills and learning where my true passion was...weddings! I started my business in a small studio space attached to our home with the intent to expand to a storefront eventually, then the economy went and I decided to expand where I was, and have recently decided to stay in my newly added studio- since I design many destination weddings in our great state of Alaska I love the flexibility both for myself, and my clients in having a studio space.
I pride myself on the personalized attention I give my clients and absolutely love what I do. It's hectic at times, but I wouldn't trade it for any 9-5, who needs sleep anyway?
