There will be two Flowers For Kids Retail Florist Training Sessions during this weekend's Open House at Bonnett Wholesale in Milan.
The participating florists will receive the Flowers For Kids training package and a box of roses from the sponsoring farms.

I attended the FFK Training Session in Milan on Sunday. What an experience! I would highly recommend getting the training. It was informative, educational and inspirational. I left feeling confident that I would be easily able to take on any 10 year old smarty pants and give them a valuable learning experience that would enrichen their lives. The training was given by the talented comedian, grower and FFK Director, Ramiro Penaherrera, who did an outstanding presentation. I must admit, I was a little star struck. If you are like me, who has been pondering about taking the training, don't wait any longer, just do it. I'm really glad I did. Thank you Bonnett's, and thank you Ramiro!

Rebecca, Congratulations on your training. Once you teach your first class you will be totally hooked!!! I'm still hooked after teaching 1,300+ kids in 2 years. Please keep us posted with any classes you teach.

Ramiro taught my ffk training class two years ago. FFK is by far the best marketing tool for florist out there today. I truly enjoy getting out into the community to teach proper floral care as well share the joy that flowers can bring to everyone. Plus it opens your shop to new clients as well!

Rebecca, please feel free to give me a call or pm before your first ffk class if you have any questions. Good luck to you and please share your ffk stories with us!!!:yourock:

Many thanks to Bonnett Wholesale for organizing a well attended Open House and promoting the Flowers For Kids Retailer Training Session. We certified 47 florists during the two sessions.
The rose boxes from the sponsoring farms (on the FFK website), were sent out last week by Bonnett Wholesale to all the florists.
Glynn and his extended family were gracious Mississippi River Boat hosts on Saturday evening. Son John was designated cimematographer.
Additional thanks to Chris (Sun Valley), Richard (Natural Flowers), Benito (Valleflor), Ross (RosaPrima), Alejandro (Prismal), Miguel (Arbusta), Mario (Fresca), Dan (EcoFlowers), Ball Plants (Mirabella Gyp), Bartels Stek (Tinto Rose), Floralife, and Chrysal.
