I've owned a retail florist for the last 25 years. I've seen the industry get hammered and infiltrated by people who aren't even florists. I wrote a book last year and began to take on the task of the "Floral revolution". I do speaking engagements and bootcamps where I teach florists the "tricks of the trade" and how to manage all those "big box" guys who have their hands in your/our pockets. My next book will be out this summer. If we ban toether we can get our sales back and bring our industry full circle.
