Dear Amy,I see you commented on my first post. Im sorry it was so vague.Im still finding my way around . If you see my more recent posts,it might clarify things a little better. But please let me try here also. I live in a rural area on 3 acres.I have a background servicing the East Indian community.Eastern culture weddings involve lots of work and lots of space. Sometimes the work is done before and some is done on site. So-I guess I tried to cover both-in a simple reply. Construction of a "mandap" is done a few times, once in the initial design, and then again on site, this process depends on the amount of flowers used-sometimes they are draped with several flower garlands similar to the ones worn by the bride and groom.I am fortunate that I have the space.I do not have a retail space,as not the typical "walk in " customer would use my services. The Indian community supports floral decoration very generously and I am fortunate to have married into the beauty of what I have been "enlightened" to. Thanks for asking.

Hi Connie,Thanks for checking my post. This was the first post I did. My spelling was terrible-I was too vague- I was veerrrry tired. Ive tried to edit this post but my navigation isnt the greatest. Anyway -please be patient. I posted a reply after Amy asked the same things. I work with the Asian Indian community mainly, and I dont have a retail facility. Its kind of a niche business and when theres a wedding ,theres lots of work. I construct "mandaps", a structure much like a "chuppa". The first time its assembled ,its to get the kinks out -then again its assembled on site and the floral decorations are added. These are usually flower garlands like the bride and groom wear.Other arrangements are used to decorate religious statues-on site also. Another point to keep in mind is that any flowers used must be kept "clean" and specific care needs to be adhered to ,respecting the religious aspects of the decorations used in these ceremonies.Anyway,I really enjoy my "work".
