I have a wedding coming up at the end of May. The brides bouquet is to be designed using the Elegant Bouquet Holder (see picture below).

The flowers for the bouquet are mini gerber, delphinium, kermits, mini carns, dendros, ect. with very little greens and no roses.

Bride doesn't want a compact tight round look for the flowers but more of a looser round look, kind of wild flower look .

My problem, I have designed in this holder in the past and the wet foam seems to always starting falling apart before I get all the flowers in. I have tried using some floralock spray which helps some, but it just seems there is never enough foam for the larger type bouquet.

Does anyone have any tips or suggestion as to how to make this work without having to worry about the foam falling apart or the flowers falling out of the foam?

Have you ever worked with FloraLock? My understanding is that it helps the stems stay locked in place in wet foam, though I would practice with it first. It's pretty goopy, and can make a royal mess if you aren't careful.

Have you thought about replacing the oasis with a large piece of oasis? I don't how large you want the design to be, but, I have done this in the past. Be sure to secure the oasis with tape/and/or wire.

We use the elegant bouquet holders all the time and never have a problem with them. Perhaps the foam is falling apart because you're inserting a stem then taking it out to rearrange it. Everytime this is done it compromises the foam making it weaker.
I find the design surface to be sufficient for larger bouquets. Carol had a good idea. However instead of replacing it with a larger piece of oasis, I would attach an igloo or igloos to the holder.
