Bridesmaid Corsages

I have a bride that would like to have all of her bridesmaids wear corsages on thier wrists and carry a small bouquet of daisies. So she emails me some pictures of corsages - they look like bouquets to me??? Has anyone seen corsages this big? Take a look and let me know what you think - posey or corsage??

The one kind of looks like it's on the hand though..........

The yellow one is most definitely a bouquet.
The lavender green one, I can see stems at the bottom, so I say bouquet as well.

Sorry but that has just made me chuckle. They are definately bouquets. If they are wrist corsages it would be for a small horse!!

Bouquets for sure, the purple one is more of a small clutch bouquet, but still a bouquet...

Consumers mis-use floral terms all the time. They say 'wreath' when they mean 'standing spray'. They say 'bouquet' when they mean 'arrangement'. They say orchid' when they mean 'lily'.

Why not clarify that the flowers will be carried in the hand and ask for overall dimensions for her completed designs. This should help clear things up.

So true! We are meeting on saturday so I will make sure she understands these are bouquets. Maybe she's looking for a corsage w/ similar colors and flowers and just sent me the bouquet as an example?? That makes a little more sense - except she said in her email "here are the corsage ideas I have come up with" LOL

I 100% agree with Cathy. Both those are 100% bouquets and BTW- not very pretty ones. Especially the 2nd one.

While we all agree that those pics represent bouquets, I did do a wedding recently where the bride requested "wrist bouquets" - just glorified wrist corsages with large bow and streamers.
