Brown fern heads

Hi everyone!

I'm up in Kitchener, Ontario, and am wondering if anyone knows where I can get those brown fern heads that I see in many contemporary wedding bouquets. It almost looks like it's made out of chocolate... MMMmmmm....

I'd love to get some, but all my suppliers say they don't carry those.

I've seen them on Florabundance.com - you'll have to register & stuff for pricing.

I haven't worked with these fern pods yet, but I do like the look.

Look for them under the name Uluhe Fern Curls, Uluhe Fern Shoots or Monkey Tails. They come in a couple differnt colors- brown (or sold as purple by some) and green. They are a great accent with lots of design uses. We carry them on a regular basis and have become rather popular.
The largest ones come from Hawaii, you may try a direct shipper from there. Your wholesaler should be able to get them and may find they are a hit...they sould give them a try.
