Your prayers please... Patti, a freind of mine and Cheries for years, and the mother of our driver Tyler was bitten by a Brown Recluse Spider this past week, and is not doing too well. You can see by the images, what the consequences are...

Even though the Brown Recluse is not supposed to be in Michigan, strange things happen.

Please say a kind word, she is an awesome lady, working full time in our church office....

My doctor told me they often arrive in unsual places on plants and produce that arrive from the south. He's treated some bites for people who work in the local supermarkets.

Prayers and thoughts of healing to Patty.
We do have them in Maine. Have known of at least two acquaintances who have been bitten but were lucky enough to identify and receive immediate treatment. Have seen black widow in mixed boxes of greens here, scary enough that. But we loved the anole we got in some tree fern-gave it to the school biology teacher. Anything transported from away can carry something we would never think of having. As Mikey has said, caution!
