B Seara Events is a full service event company our website is: www.bsearaevents.com

We have been in business for 3 years. I've been designing floral arrangements in both naturla and silk for over 14 years.

Referral to this forum was via a web search.

What I hope to gain from this membership is an exchange forum with like minded business owners in the floral and event industry.

I can contribute and I enjoy communicating the exchange ideas with others in related fields in other parts of the country and world so we can learn from each other on trends , techniques and styles being implemented in the industry.

Most of my business is handled out of home office however we do have warehouse space available for large events and orders fulfillment.

Do you have any formal training, schooling?
On your home page, I have a slight problem with the picture showing the wine glasses with the orange roses and baby's breath ring? Too many mechanics are in open sight.
Do you plan on attending any educational events?

Funny Rhonda I don't find any home page at all...

I find lots of listings, but no real website...

I would be interested to see...

Good morning and thanks for you interest in the community.

Your website doesn't offer much information on your floral strengths. Please expand on your experience, education, and training in the industry.

Thanks.

When clicked on "Porfolio," it said the page was under construction. I am also curious about your education in floral design.

Hi Rhonda, I looked at that picture and it struck me as a flower girl halo with the wiring and taping method that is used...

Thank you for your interest in our community. I have a couple of questions about your business.

I read some of the packages on your website and saw vendor referral and vendor scouting both offered. My question is: do you refer your clients to retail florists or do you assume the role of floral deisgner for all of your events? If you are the floral designer, my question becomes more like Rhonda's...do you have any formal training, or have you ever worked in a florist?

Also, is the facility you mentioned having for larger events equipped with a flower cooler and a designated flower processing area?

Thanks in advance for answering these additional questions!

Can anyone post the url for this website. I cannot seem to find it..

Apparently she's not that interested in becoming a member. There has been no response to any of our queries.

Hi Amy,

The way we work is in the clients best interest. We do a consultation and based on there input we recommend vendors (i.e. photographers, entertaiment, flowers, etc.) we will provide our clients with a quote for their floral design just like any other vendor and the client determines which vendor to select. We provide the proposal/quote, samples and final product like any other florist. The floral contract is separate form the event coordination. yes, of course we'd love them to go with us but if not we gladly work with whatever vendor they select.

As for the, warehoouse space we rent on a case by case basis. Yes, it is full equipped with all flower processing equipment. Originally, I was working with a rep from Dole flowers. Now we are each doing our own companies. My main supplier is Esmeralda Farms as well as Esprit.

I just don't know how to post pictures here and unfortunately one of the drawbacks to my website is that it's in Flash and I don't know how to update Flash. However, the website will be revamped soon where I can make all modifications. not just for flowers but for favors, invitations, portofolio and client testimonials.

I am a bit confused. You said you do consultations and give quotes for multiple aspects of weddings including flowers and you give them choices of vendors. You HOPE they will chose you as a vendor but they chose who they want.

So are you a florist or vendor referral company??

Hi Carrieann,

My company is an event planning company that has in-house floral design as an offering for our clients. That is how we can also try to obtain the clients floral business. Many times they go with us but other times they already have their floral vendor.
Hope that clears it up!

Thanks

Is there a reason why you didn't reply to any of our questions?
