Call TF about FROM YOU FLOWERS!!!

We have had it with From You Flowers and contacted TF about it today. We have obtained the DIRECT line to the Director of Florist Customer Service, Amas Tenumah....His number is: 405-440-6044.

We called and ranted and basically stated that:
From You Flowers is a thorn in the floral industry. They are NOT a real florist and are merely processing orders at an ungodly number...how they get so @@@@ed many orders is a mystery that they couldn't answer either. They swore that TF doesn't own FROM YOU FLOWERS to us on the phone but... We also contacted other florist in Old Saybrook, CT who are up to their ears in compaints about that 'so-called' shop and they have to explain that From you Flowers is not their shop.

We explained that most of the orders were problems: wrong address, customer telephone # instead of the recipient #, WAY BELOW MINIMUMS and we don't deliver for free!, no 2nd choice or permission for substitutions, cancelling orders if they aren't just like the picture which we always deny the cancellation.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, if you are with TF wire service and, like us and so many others, have absolutely had it with FROM YOU FLOWERS, call the number above and complain. They told us they get NO complaints about From You Flowers which is an obvious lie.

NOTE: We also heard that FROM YOU FLOWERS is owned by a competitor of TF, possibly FTD or Proflowers which begs us to ask "Why in the hell are they allowed to be a member?"

I'd love to see just how many orders that company is processing as compared to the REAL flower shops like us.....it just burns me up!

CALL NOW and COMPLAIN!!! THEY SHOULD NOT BE MEMBERS!

The future of our industry depends on good customer service which is impossible to provide with FROM YOU FLOWERS. I know, I know, we all need to get out of the wire services but I need all the orders I can get and we, as an industry, need to be able to work together and get this back on track.

He has 50 subordinates working for him and one of them will call you back but we could at least fill up his voicemail!

They'll try to tell you that they receive no complaints about FROM YOU FLOWERS....it's not true.

When I had the dove we had it set up to reject all orders from them but SOMEHOW they kept getting through. We had nothing but problems from them!!!
 
Hmmm, I simply called them, and BloomsToday and a few others and asked to be removed from their directories...

Have not got an order from them since...
 
Well, I'm not a member of any WS, but I do enjoy the thought of perhaps finding a pay phone and just giving the guy a piece of my mind. Just a small piece cuz ther's not much left. What fun!
Before I bought this shop, they were TF and almost ALL of thier orders came from, F*** You Flowers in Old Saybrook CT. Shiesters!
 
You are wasting your breath. They are probably Teleflora's #1 sender. They would NEVER drop them.

Many florists refuse all OG orders. That is what you need to do. Refuse all orders and ask a supervisor as FYF to mark you do not send. I am not familiar with the Dove "block", but I have heard that is possible, although some may slip through, if they are forwarded I believe.

Ditto Heather, Don't waste your breath. Florists have already been complaining to them for years. They only way they'll really hear your complaint is to cancel your service with them.
 
First of all TF lies.....they have gotten calls, they just told you that so you crawl back into your shop and hopefully be quiet and just fill them or not..This is a waste of time period...
 
After about 5 times of telling FY Flowers - asking for a manager - that I would not reject their orders, not resend or refuse them - just sit on them and not fill; they finally stopped sending them to me. I learned this strategy from someone here on FC.
Sometimes, one will slip by from another shop resending. I reject it with a tirade. Actually, haven't one in months and months and months.

Thanks everyone for all the tips. I'm still in a dream world that someday TF will listen and take the moral stance and work with us the way this whole process was intended.

I'm call FYF today and demanding that they send me no more orders.

One small step back to sanity.
 
They don't pay attention to your minimums, so conversely why should you? ;)
