Also Ryan can you get me a phone number of the restaurant we are suppose to be at, I cant get a number through 411 web site.

Time to come out and have a drink, some food and conversations with fellow florist. Anyone from Teleflora or FTD staff welcome. Open to any florists.

You know Luc,

I know you love Teleflora and FTD, but you seem to forget about Blossoms Network when in fact we're the ONLY WIRE SERVICE with it's headquarters in Canada. Personally I'm a little sick of being treated like **** compared to those two Order gatherer enabeller's.
 
Count me in! I haven't had much time to read the boards lately so don't know anything about it....I'll watch this thread for details. Olga is in Florida so I'll be on my own.

Well he's not the only one guilty of it lately, there's shows and events that happen, and we're not even asked or considered unless I literally start to scream from the roof tops. You find out about events after the fact.

My eyes must have failed me that day. It's bad when I have to read what's going on from the upcoming FTD August 2003 Newsletter. (You know the one you'll get in the mail soon)

I honestly don't think it's my job to go around North America and ask to sponsor things, normally people come to people and ask, hell there's a baseball team in Hamilton that wrote who would like sponsorship, but because they aren't floral related they didn't receive funding.
 
Audra and I have spoken of it as well... :) I'll be there also Luc. Looking forward to the opportunity to meet more of the floral friends made here.
 
So... Peter? Not to lump you in with the Order Gatherer Enabler types - you are a boardie. Face it, if you're here, you're a florist type. That means you're invited unless I missed a memo somewhere.

Ok, My apologies to Peter, but my invintation was for anyone interested of joining us. It was mention about 1 month ago on this board. I invite any shops interested and also FTD or Teleflora personel if they wish to come. Personally I really dont give a hoot who pays for the tab, I am willing to pay my own way, I just want to meet with fellow florist for a good relaxing evening out. Subject will be of different topics and voices.
Now Peter if you want to pick the tab up, you are welcome to do it. Last year gathering Frank Stornelli from FTD picked up the tab and we did not expect him to do it but it was gracely accepted.
Also it is nic to see wire service personel so we can have a candid talk with them.
Again ANYONE WHO WANTS TO COME IS WELCOME.

he chooses to come, and by the way Peter, we'd LOVE you to pay the tab, BUT, in NO WAY are you so obliged...we all DO EXPECT to pay our own way anyways....maybe last year's 2nd get together was just an "anomoly".:eek:

Ok...so who's going? My head is :spin ing. I'm just looking forward to meeting "new" people...you know putting faces to voices etc. Especially Mikey's voice. ;)
 
hmmmm....that was supposed to make sense because of the "spin" thing...which apparently isn't spinning...
 
Heh, Luc and Mikey are known here but I'm really looking forward to actually 'meeting' Ryan, Victoria and (hopefully) Peter. Faces to names is always a bonus.

I have now reserved 10 to 15 space for supper on Aug 11, 7:00 p.m. Tuckers Marketplace restaurant in Dixon Rd.. If I see more people joining us I can ad more room. Also they told me if we have more a 15% gratuity will automatically be added to the bill. I also told tem individual billing. If it changes we will go from there.
Mikey am I putting you on the list with Sandie????
Any one else?????

I can't promise anything right now, as I'm scheduled to be in a different part of the Province that day, at least 6 hours. But If I can get near there, I'll call from the road and advise.
