Can a Reputation Dot be Changed?

In terror of starting a new debate about dots, I have a simple question for the admins or for anyone who knows the answer or can help. Can the color of a dot be changed? I think that I gave Tom Carlson a red dot when I meant to give him a green dot. I surely did not mean to deduct from his reputation because I hold every thing that he says in very high regard.

Can what I did be changed?
