I need to brag on my husband of 16 years... Who BTW has supported me opening a florist and building from the ground up and we know this is not an easy task.. He is ALWAYS there for all nighters and the manly heavy lifting stuff. Instead of vacations from his day job - he takes those days during V-day and Moms day to help me.. Even gave up playing music for a period to make sure the shop made it...

:hug:How would we do this business with out our PEPS??

SO...... He has been a musician since he was 6 - He has played professionally most of his adult life - keyboard, piano, and bass guitar. He has played at the Chicago Blues Festival, and a opened for a few other well know folks... as well as studio work etc.. (It's a hard business)

Anyway.. He currently plays bass with a Country band (we are in Texas after all) and they entered a Battle of Bands contest .. so to speak.. and WON! They won getting to open for Charlie Robison.. :musical: http://www.cmt.com/artists/az/robison_charlie/artist.jhtml
I know he is very exicted. He is a top notch bassist and deserves a spot with some one well known! I hope his dreams come true - as he helped so long and hard to make mine come true...

Hear some what? Braggin'? I already did.. now it's your turn? Who out of your Peps is ALWAYS there at 3am on Feb 13th? ... BTW My mom is always there too!
 
Well, I have to say, , I have a new family that I can call to vent to, that is that of that crazy Bloomz,Twila, when I need a ear to listen ask advice from or just to vent, that Boss man he sure is a fabu, someone who understands lots and lots, as well, and That Clay guy who makes me laugh, That Sher, she sure is a hoot, ,,That Lady DI, which I love bunches and bunches, the saving grace for when I am so sad, Cheryl Bakin, Someone I truely respect, and care about bunches and bunches, That Master J, well he knows that The Queen loves him and his wonderful sense of wonderful moments..Mr. Joe, he is just so wonderful and knowledge to help with my black thumb... Heather Tuckey,,, SHe is just a a wonderful woman,, to know, and ask over and over again about things,,,,Anelisa, The one that gives me strenght, no matter how bad things are, I am there for you, and keep playing and getting better...Shannon, Keeps me young, remembering how gung ho,I was at your age,

Also Lady VIctoria, You are a saint in my book, and that of the warmth, that you make me feel when I speak to you, and know it will all be OK, CHR,,,your knowledge that makes me keep learning daily, that is all great...Now Ryan,,,,,the SEO stuff, yes I am paying attention, to you,,,Connie, you with your grandness of life, and what you are to so many people,,,DEE DEE,,For understanding about things,,,Family..

To all of you and those who I may have forgotton, I love each and everyone of you, with all my dearest heart, thanks for being my saving grace through all that I have been dealing with... I don't know if this is what you meant, but this is what I am thankful and very gratiful for...Even that King at my house, I pray everyday for you, and thank you so much..

Well congrats to your hub, Tammie, that is cool! :musical:

Supportive spouses are crucial! I have a great one. He has taken days off of work during holidays to deliver for me too, and if I'm here late he brings me dinner and he's just an all-around awesome guy.

Queen, I agree, the "family" here is great too!!!!!

What the crap, I'll do a little brag for my other half. Cuts grass at shop, gets pool ready for the grands to have fun in, makes sure I have everything I need more or less.He's they for my every need. I don't tell him enough" Thank You ":iwuvyou:
 
Okay.. blonde and senior moment all at the same time.. DUH!

Tammie, congratulations to your husband. He is in a difficult career path... but one that will bring him satisfaction and joy.

Queen... you made me cry and I thank you for your kind words. I send them back to you in triplicate.

I have a very small family. My brother lives out of town, and my beloved Alana is always leaving the country. So, like our great Queen (in flowerland) I count many of you in my family.

Tammie... my daughter brings me the most joy and while I haven't told her this yet, she carries me on her shoulders often.

I also have wealth in "count on one hand" friends who are in real land. That makes me very rich.

Great thread Tammie... thanks for starting it and please pass a "good on ya" to your talented husband. It's great to appreciate and brag on those who make a positive impact on our lives. :)

Tammie, You and Boss both would appreciate the talents of a great friend of mine (unrelated to the topic ) - She is a christian musician. Between her and her husband, they play 27 different instruments and she has a vocal range of four and one half octaves.

TO be honest, I have never looked.
 
I've got a great hus....
Built each of our shops, moved us 4 times and each time did an even better job
of making our shop rock.
He is funny, brings all of us food when we need it, he is my best sounding board,
awesome at advertising, marketing, and hmmm...very artistic.
Two teenage sons who both deliver flowers for me, or , pick up flowers,
and, one even works after hours to blast the music and clean the shop.
They all listen to my endless Stem Stories....
They are my only peeps here, and , all I need.
Couldn't do it without them....

I spent about an hour last night searching the net.......to no avail. I'll call Rhonda and talk to her.

She is also a stockbroker for Edward Jones btw,
