I'm hoping to attend. It will depend on scheduling, of course.

Gee, everytime I post about getting together with sleep overs involved we are always fighting over who has to share with Luc! lol
I am sure the change in date to November will change a lot of peoples minds about going. Heck, Luc will have 6 feet of snow to shovel by then I think!

Here was a successful conference run by real florist.
FTD stepped in a few years back as a sponsor.
Next thing they wanted control and took it.
With the suggestions of real florist they do what they wish to do.
After the minimal showing in Jan just before the trade show, you would think they would still listen to florists.
Not to many people wil travel to these function when the weather does play a factor. Especially in Nov. How comfortable can you be stuck inside a resort instead of taking a nice stoll outside in Sept. or Oct. I know resorts are down in Nov. until the ski seasons starts and FTD is probably getting a good rate for their buck.
At any rate, shops ae busy getting ready for Christmas, they are busy in the shops for other people christmas party and arent as capable to leave in Nov.

Mind you we do all find time to have our own Christmas party or get togethers to attend. If FTD is doing this in Nov, they need to make it a big Christmas theme type gathering to get everyone pumped for the holidays. They should advertise this function that way! A last weekend to relax before the big rush!
Maybe, just maybe more people will attend.

As a side note to Missy, 6 feet of snow is nothing for me. If I can attend a trade show in Jan, I can go everywhere. It is the people down south that they think you fall off the earth when you pass Barrie! I will venture to guess that most people that do attend this function is from the South!

And another side note about sleeping arr. I am a big guy, I have lots to go around.
