Baby daughter's "live-in" called today, he's home for a family reunion and daughter will be up tonight to meet him. Wanted to "talk" with hubby. Hmm odd there cause he's not a big "her family man". Well what we thought was odd was.....he asked for her hand in marriage!! He put off his trip home (here, 3 hours north of where they live) waiting two days for the jeweler to get the ring correct. Now he's here and she came later. He's going to ask her at their favorite place on the Penobscot River with a gorgeous view of Mount Katahdin. Probably tomorrow..
They dated in high school for two years then he went away to college for 4 years and suddenly she found a note in her car in the largest city in Maine...he was there..been together since (5 yrs).. sworn to secrecy until he does it..(hopefully she doesn't pick a fight with him tonight or tomorrow at the family reunion of his
