We make them for car dealers all the time. we use 6" wired ribbon or 8" wired ribbon. we make them in three sections ad give them two straight lenghts to go on the top or the hood.
Shops around here buy them from a place called "Dealer's Supply" I believe. Check the internet or your lovely local phonebook for an automobile dealers aupply company. Good luck.
