I have a few questions before I can cast my vote yea or nay for membership.

Are you a hobbiest who works out of your home or are you a full-service professional with all the neccessary licenses, tax forms, and stuff required to operate a business?

How long have you been involved with and in the floral industry?

What kind of formal training have you had in the field of professional floral design and the floral industry business?

Why are you operating out of your home..........Assuming you have all the proper equipment including coolers, equipment, candlelabra, and other accoutrements of our industry?

Your website shows lovely work. Thanks for answering the questions on the intro page.

Please tell us who recommended you... it will make the voting process easier. :)

Ricky,
If you go to her website, many of your questions will be answered. It's obvious from the quality of her work, she is no hobbiest!

A quote if you study her web site:

"love of flowers led Carol to open a flower shop some twenty years ago. Customers came in to breathe in a certain fragrance; focus on a particular flower; embrace a natural color, or, in every instance, find a piece of a garden of their past or present. Her passion was to create bouquets and centerpieces detailed to individual wishes. She loved the personal aspect of the floral shop. For that very reason, Carol gave up her flower shop to redirect her creativity and expertise."

Trust me if you look at her gallery, no one does that scope of business without the propers very long.

Elaine, thanks for coming forward and recommending your friend. :) And you're right, this is a great place.

Thank you for all your comments.
