It only feels like I've been in the business 96 years
I have been in the floral business for 35 years in a family business that is 96 years old. In that 35 years I have worked a floral supply warehouse, wholesale sales floor (16 years), corporate buyer, sales manager, chief information officer. My wife owned a retail flower shop. I've swept floors, unloaded trucks, sold a million miles of ribbon, ran retail deliveries, stood out front of my wifes shop in a bunny suit, written computer programs, managed commercial real estate. I sit on the Board of Directors of The Wholesale Florists & Floral Suppliers of America. I am a member of the John Carroll University Entrepeneurs Association. In addition to that, I am a licensed commercial pilot (33 years) and a professional wedding photographer. I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America, Professional Photographers of Ohio, Wedding and Portrait Photographers International, National Association of Photoshop Professionals. I photograph weddings every Saturday from the Great Lakes region to the tip of Florida.
