Center piece idea for Holiday Party

Help.. my mind is blank...

I have a 500.00 budget which is probably stretching it...

12 centerpieces, 3 arrangments for registration table, dessert bar, and buffet

Cream, gold and burgandy colors... She loves calla lilies.
It is the staff holiday party for the Hospital (they refer me alot!)

Centerpiece will be auctioned off, she wants them looking up-scale. It is approximately $30.00 each...

Here is what I'm thinking. 2 standard callas and bear grass bound with gold wire. You could even have them tipping almost out of the vase in that look some designers are doing now. Looks very edgy. Burgundy/wine stones or gems in a dollar store cylinder. Wrap a very nice burgundy and gold fabric ribbon around the vase and secure with gold wire. Could also do an armature inside and outside of vase, maybe curly willow for gold just to add a "bigger" feel.

We have had a few of these recently, we tend to go with a container and oasis design in a high style type made bold with a larger flower like an open lily set low, twigs up high and a few focal flowers and greens.

We did do one in a vase with 4 stems of open red lilies low in a short fatter gathering style vase with gel colored red, red submersible lights and red twigs coming out high. Was supposed to look like fire but you can change colors accordingly, gold sticks, burgundy lilies maybe clear gel with a yellow light? They did love them a lot, very uppity ladies from one of our hospitals.

I would go with submersible as well with grouped vases. When you say Holiday what do you mean? Christmas?? (excuse my englishness). I like lights in submersibles.

If they refer you a lot I would be inclined to up their budget and cover it as well but tell them that you are doing it and maybe put some advertising there...

Maybe do 2-3 different designs? A few ideas off the top of my head
- Grouping of three cylinders 6"/9"/11", one with 3 white hydranges touched with gold spray, one with 8 cream carnations, and one with several stems of short curly willow sprayed gold.
- Garden dish with 3 burgundy callas wound together, marbles or gems in the bottom and a submersible light.
- Large cylinder with 3 burgundy callas submerged (or at least low in the glass). Light in the bottom and/or a floating candle on top.
- Submersed cymbids in ivory and burgundy.
