what is the correct size wreath I need to use for a 60" table (seats 10)
I would like to do a wreath with a hurricane and pillar candle in the middle.
I was looking at the oasis wreath on the tray...it's only 10.5" OR i can go with the 15"..

what is the right proportion? what does everyone commonly use??
I guess this would be a simple question for everyone, however in THIS neck of the woods we don't have very many weddings that include reception decor.. your input would be appreciated!

I tend to use a 10" wreath with a cylinder vase inside, ithen put some oasis in the cylinder vase and drop the candle in so that it sits high. Not sure about if the base of your hurricane vase would sit in.

Lovely designs by the way, when i get to my other comp i will post a pic if you like of my designs like this.

What kind of flowers were you going to use in the wreath? That would be one of my deciding factors.
her colors are Ivory and gold.. so,
white and cream with antiqued gold fruit... cream roses, daliahs(maybe) callas (a few) green hydrangea & Hypericum berries, white orchids (dendros cut up)
variegated Pitt. lizzy

I would use either the syndicate sales or the oasis version of the solid ring. You have a solid dish with a ring of foam as a base. That way, if need be, you have a solid base to attach the hurricane and/or candle. Also, that type of solid base will protect the tablecloth.

I believe I would go with the 10.5 inch, by the time its greened and flowers put in it will be a lot larger. Sound pretty. Good luck.

this is what I was thinking too.. but had doubts about it being too small for the size of the table.

Palms- thanks for sharing your picture!(it's lovely) It's nice to have a visual:)

I would not worry too much about that.....using the largest size available will help a lot.....other than that, You can always choose to use a longer stem flower.

I do wreaths like this every weekend... ( I am getting VERY bored with them but they do bring in $$ so I shouldn't complain)..:handball:

Anyway I use the 12 inch wreath base - perfect size.
