No, not a trick... Cheap Trick...the band.

Announced yesterday, Cheap Tricks new album will be released on 8-Track and records... WTH?

I talked to a couple "youngsters" at church yesterday that don't even know what 8-Tracks are...

Records were kind of familiar...

Why would they do something like that - 8 track players are not being made anymore.......are they?

I can understand vinyl - but 8-track?


I'll repeat what I said in another thread - Is it just me or has somebody done gone and lost their FRIGGIN mind?

Define Irony:
I found a box of 8-tracks behind my old box of LP's while cleaning up/out my parent's basement yesterday.
Some of those were: Best of Bread, Chicago, and CCR.

Now, what did I do with that old 8-track player? (yes, had one that connected to any "stereo" system with RCA jacks...)
Still have my Technics turntable...still works as we found out yesterday.

........ confirms what I thought - all those on ebay were used. - None of them were brand new constructs. ..............

hmm, our 8 track is still with our Technics turntable...as well as our cassette tape machine next to those 4' speakers. Top of the line back in the day.........
