Check Your FTD Statements

Just noticed that since January 2011 that there is no credit for the Norton Anti Virus charges on the statements. Don't know if this applies only to members using Merc Direct or if it's all systems. Used to be the charge was there but also a credit for the same amount provided you had it installed.
Nice..........no notice of the new extra fees of $15.00 per month that I'm aware of :FTDme

6 yrs ago FTD pulled this stunt of charging their members for a Anti-Norton Virus protection staring around Christmas time. The disc they sent (included in Thanksgiving statement) said in mice print " If you wish to not pay $15 /month for this anti-virus protection you must inform FTD by Dec. 1st." Suspecting florists were very busy getting ready for the holiday rush many saw the disc and threw it in the trash because they already had an anti-virus protection loaded on their computers without reading the disclaimer, hence the $15/mo additional fee.

Many were able to fight this and they started crediting the bogus $15 back. Now it appears they are playing the game again. How insane ! Watch all of your statements, because as the WS lose more and more members they seem to be incrementally increasing their fees to existing members in order to keep the revenue stream equal.

The Norton Anti Virus disc was ( as I was told by good authority at the time) specifically re-designed for FTD and it also gave them more insight into your program. Challenge it, delete it and stop playing their games if you want to pay yourself a
salary Vs giving it to the WS. There IS a light at the end of the tunnel!!
