My website is http://www.chellesbellesflowers.com

I've just started my business this summer

I studied Floral Design at Texas A&M

By Google

I want to gain knowledge from other florists, particularly those who are based from a home studio, about starting a floral business and the beginnings of the business.

I can contribute knowledge I've gained from my formal training, and also my nitch, which is DIY Wedding Flower Classes.

I currently operate from my residence.

Congratulations and welcome to flower chat. I have been saved a few times by members of the flower chat community and hope I have helped others.

I also teach classes and worked with our local townships to do the Wedding classes. It didn't take due to lack of sign ups. I have a minimum of 10 in some classe. How do you advertise these DIY classes?

Since you work out of your home is your business set up as an actual business with proper licensing and such or is this more of a hobby?

You indicated that you are focusing on DIY brides and noticed that you stated on your website that brides can save over 50% by doing the flowers themselves. How are you determining this savings? Are you implying that the brides should DIY rather than go to a professional florist?

As Flowerchat is a closed community to professional florists, your answers and introduction information are extremely important as the members of flowerchat vote on incoming members.

Thank you for your answers and look forward to reading your reply.
