Chicken likes tast of dog food

when I go on the computer I look at the dog bowl and our chickens having the left over dog food in it .:hammer::porttopor

We discoved that a raccoon was coming into our greenhouse to get the cat food.
 
My dear aunt used to head the SPCA in her area in Michigan (years ago). She was/is an ardent protector of animals (Alana and I come by it honestly). Staying at her place in Battlecreek was always an education and an adventure in caring for the broken and down trodden. In her house (immaculate by the way) she had three legged cats, blind dogs, abused bunnies. Every racoon in the area had her address... she fed them religiously on the back deck. They loved the kibble, and her. Looking through her patio door was better than going to the movies. Living in her house was a lesson in great humanity.

then you would know about how wonderful an experience it would be, to have a chicken sleeping on your head???
 
gotta love those chickens. Dear hubby is working on 2007B model chicken coop. Last year's model 2006 resembled a covered wagon.

Model 2007A is a chicken tractor. A narrow thing made out of a barrel. Hmm...it was completed last evening and still in the experimentation stage, but will be used between rows to weed garden.

Someday I'll write about hubby heating our pool with the gas barbeque.
