I have a coupon this year where I am including a Christmas Ornament with the arrangement. I hate the plastic card picks and thankfully I just ran out of them .I know there was a post earlier about green card holders but I have a deal with my gardener where he picks up all my greens and stems for compost and then he supplies me with the compost for my garden so I don't want to use old stems.
I was wondering what I would use now when I was working on doing some curly shapes for Christmas designs and I decided to give the Oasis deco wire a try. It works really well for holding the cards and ornaments and it can also be part of your design if you were going to put wire curls in the design anyway.I used the flat wire for the larger ornament.You can make them as simple or as ornate as you want. No I don't work for Oasis but I thought I would pass this tip on incase any of you want to try it.
