here's the story...
For those who don't care... and those who do... he had a kid with his agent, (she's 50), via in vitro and only came out of the closet because he didn't want his kid to lie like he had for years...
and I really don't care...

He was a second place finisher at either this past season or the season before of the Musical competition Show.....Americal Idol.

So American Idol is popular hey?
Australian Idol is on our Tv at the moment - If there is nothing else on I watch it. The problem with it is that the Talented ones ( in my opiinion anyway) get voted out early because they don't appeal to the Voters ( 12 year old Girls).
There is a 16 year old Kid that is one of the contestants this year and even though he has got a bit of a voice , he is still way out of his depth - his performances have all been terrible, yet he keeps getting thru because the Tweenie vote.
Pretty much the same every year - we have a Winner, they realease one Single, then never to be heard of again.
I'll be surprised if it is on our Tele next year.

Don't make book on that... it is still a world wide phenomenon. Generally the losers fair better than the winners.

I think he just didn't want to be pretending and covering up... wanted to set an honest example for his son. He wanted to be open and free.. I can totally understand that. I can't imagine how awful it must be to have to hide who you are. No one should have to.
