clematis in bloom

I am so excited with the color they are like a vivid blue last year they were deep deep purple anyone know why? I would like to keep them this color.

Clematis can actually change color. Here is a link to a Clematis website that will give you more info.

I love how blue your Clematis looks. How old is the plant? Are you training it to vine over something like a fence or mailbox?
