I've been asked to do a bouquet for local photo shoot. The color palette is pink, grey, black and white and the bouquet is to have a vintage feel. Pink and white flowers are easy, black is in the ribbon but the grey...what foliage should I use to compliment the grey? I have my ideas but what are yours?

A few grays come to mind- lambs ear, dusty miller and any of the silver artemesias...
along with a number of eucalytus species would give you the gray color.

oh, and the silver backed leucadendrons would be interesting too

Without a doubt - Cinerea (dusty miller)

What about the deep purple mini calla or "Black Magic" roses for the black?

Had to spend time finding out what dusty miller was - flower names are different over here! Yes to that or what about Kochia - drops like crazy but as it's a photoshoot maybe not such a problem. As for black what about feathers ... not sure how vintage is being defined but feathers very victorian - well over here at least!

I'd go with lamb's ear, especially if you can get some that is starting to bloom (pink spires). The stuff in my yard is absolutely wonderful right now.
