Has anyone used the colored water from Accent Decor? Or, would food dye work just as well?

I'd like to try it for an upcoming event, but just not sure how the flowers with hold up, or if they'll require extra care/conditioning.

I have used both..........Yes, white flowers will eventually take up the dye and color the flowers......however, if your flowers are conditioned well, turgid, and if you follow normal care and handling.....either one works great and can be used without flowers changing color.

I have used both. Try experimenting with the neon food dyes. It is a neat look. I agree with RWK... make sure your flowers are properly processed and hydrated.

I have also been using " Deco Beads" not sure who makes them (not at the shop right now) they come in several different colors as well as clear and I think they are great looking. (they are like California Crystals)

I have used the accent decor color, food coloring and frosting tint(paste) and cant really say one is better than the other. I actually prefer the frosting tint because it comes in so many different colors and shades.
I have not had any problem with the flowers taking up the color...flowers aren't in the water long enough and the water isn't saturated enough with the color :)

Credit to an extremely creative though "way, way" outside the box kid who worked for me a couple of years ago.

JELLO!

Works great , really intense color and about 1/10 the price of the others!
What a good idea, plus it smells GREAT!

I use food dye, it costs about 25pence per bottle and 1 bottle will do 5 tall vases (1mtr high). I used to use all the flower stuff but it got so expensive, using the dye has more than halfed the expense. Never had a problem with food dye. hope this helps
