Got an order in today to go to two towns over. Recipient's phone number does not match the exchange for that town and it is the area we phone ahead to make sure someone is home. Send message to .com for confirmation of phone number at the "house where it is to be delivered" as the phone exchange is not the same, could be a cell phone, lots of places here have no service cellular wise, and to find out what type of "Renaissance Card" it is because we don't carry all the .com cards.
Person calls instead of answering ask message, "what do you mean the phone number of the house...." I answer- the people whose house this girl is staying at....she'll contact the sender. The type of card is a Thinking of You card. Okay. She calls back and says the sender says she'll be home in about 4 hours -meaning after 3:30 my time. I tell her, we don't deliver that late down there. Thanks...I'll call her myself -long distance call. I call the recipient and ask whose house, find out it's her father's - a total different name - and that no one will be home until after 2:30. This means now, that I have to keep my delivery girl another extra 1/2 hour before heading out to that area - over 15 miles one way. I send .com a price adjustment for extra delivery charge. They cancel @ 2:09 pm They immediately send the order to me again.@ 2:09 pm. I send an ask for price change. They call and ask if they send the price change will I deliver today. I said yes. Delivery girl waits. They send answer telling me to cancel followed by the cancel message @2:47. Send delivery girl home. At 2:53 order comes in again, I reject immediately, when reject is sent in comes answer message for price change. How dumb are these people? I have used 12 pages of paper for an order which is now rejected.
Rant....??? This order originally came in to us at 10:09 this morning. sheesh.

I think they're still trying to clean up the VDay mess **they created**~!
