It was a BIG night for our own Cathy Hillen-Rulloda and husband Phil!

For their years of hard work and service to the Floral Industry, they were awarded the very prestigious

AIFD Award of Distinguished Service to the Floral Industry!

(I think I got this long award title correct, please correct if I messed it up Cathy)

Rocky Politz made the presentation and was about in tears by the time she named them as the winner. You could sense her love and admiration for the Rulloda's.

Cathy won't toot her own horn about this so let the :musical: play!
Even while being congratulated she kept bragging on the new inductees.

I feel very fortunate to have gotten to meet and know Cathy a little better. We are very lucky to have her on our side.
 
and from over here too

I have had the priviledge of meeting them both and would like to echo the congratulations. The US floral industry is lucky to have these two people.

Oh, you guys are too much. Thank you soooo much.

It was a total surprise to both of us and having Rocky present us, and having Rosie in attendance made it even more special. We danced and celebrated until the wee hours of the morn. :)

I'm out the door in one minute to spend the day immersed in wedding info. The first program begins at 7:30 :faint:. Got - to - find - Starbucks.
