Congratulations to oue fellow florists in St John's, Newfoundland

I just received a call from Wesley Berry "Florist" wanting me to fill an order for St John's (an hour away) they didn't care how, FTD, TF etc.

Their operator said that they tried ALL the florists in St John's and ALL refused their orders :yourock: (she couldn't understand why)!

As far as I know they now have no coverage in most of our province. :)

A small victory but a victory none the less.....:spintongu

Rock - yes it's a victory of sorts, and I hate to pop your bubble, but.....

They'll just drop ship something there.
 
They will drop ship only if their customer planned ahead and most don't. Most assume that they can get flowers delivered in the time it takes for a phone call. If they don't find someone to deliver, their chances to make that customer happy drops significantly. Besides most hourly employees of OG's truly don't care enough to keep the sale by offering drop ship items. Unless they are paid on some type of commission?

Anyway, the small victories keep me aboard the fight wagon. Congrats!

Bloomzie, Shipping to Newfoundland is not like shipping to "yer mom's house" :)
 
Rock - congrats for taking back the neighborhood! Maybe this will prompt Weasley to remove the doorway pages, since they obviously can't 'serve' the area.

BTW, any chance you guys can help each other rise in online search? They generally only hit Weasley when real florists fall below his junk doorway pages.
 
Cathy, since we don't serve St John's I don't often look at their search results but I do watch mine weekly. We're quite well represented in search results. When I checked St John's Weasley didn't turn up hardly at all; actually we turned up more in St John's results than Weasley! :>
